Southpaws-a class apart!

When Brian Charles Lara plays a square drive it leaves the opponents and team mates awestruck alike. There is something about the left handers which makes watching them play a pleasure.Popularly called the 'south paws', though miniority in number ,they do pack a punch. The current generation has shown greater number of left handers coming up.Yuvraj singh is one such with copius talent and currently one of the most feared strikers of the cricket ball. When timing and power combine there can be nothing short of a visual treat .The old warhorse Sanath jayasuriya continues to amaze people with his batting prowess even at this age.It was no surprise when Rahul Dravid once rightly commented about our beloved Dada "on the off side, first there is God then there is Ganguly”.Such is the class of the styish left handers that he threads the gap on the off side with unmatched elan that will put even a tailor to shame. The elegance of the left handers is something which the right handers just simply dont seem to don’t match.
