I have to say that I am pretty excited about it all, and I just think that there are so many things we are going to do there! Being a Foreign Man in Bali
Saturday, April 30th, 2011Sometimes I am a bit hesitant to travel to places where my 6″4 height, blonde hair and white skin would attract the attention of pretty much everyone I see as I walk nonchalantly through a crowd. So you can only imagine my discomfort when I was assigned for work to go to Bali, Indonesia to do a site inspection for my company’s business processes. I had to breathe in and really contemplate on what to expect and I had psyched my mind that this sort of thing was probably going to happen again.
And then what happened next was something I could not explain. I don’t know if it was the psyching up or really happening, but people were not treating me differently in Bali!
